Well, that's it. The Ridiculous can be considered real now...

So, Politics is so nuts, that when I read that there was a bill in Arizona that was going to forbid menstruating and make it a criminal offense, I was ready to get up in arms.

... it took me a full half a hour to figure out it was a joke sight. Following up on the killing of people with bulldozers, and that Rapists have rights for Visitation and Custody of their children in 31 states, you can see where I was at a state where I just was willing to accept that the world had gone completely guano at that point.

Seriously, the level of Politics needs to get off the crazy train.

Lantern Project Update

So.... things learned today...

a) Yes. I can use wire to build a box.... but it doesn't like to stay still. Need to get Solder for next time.

b) Straightening Wire is a pain.

c) I can get the pieces together in about a hour at the moment. I can increase speed once I can solder and after I've had more practice.

So... with a wobbly frame, I am going to start sewing the cover together tomorrow. The thought is once I get the cloth wrapped around and sewn around the cloth, the whole structure should be more stable.

Well, that's the plan, at least.
