Heroes Unlimited!
Nov. 7th, 2010 05:42 pmSo... People showed up without their Changeling Characters today, and while I babbled about Pony Town Adventures for a bit, I picked up the Gift Copy (Thank you Brushwolf)of Heroes Unlimited and went "Heck, why don't we do this?".
I'm sure we got some things wrong, but we rolled everything randomly (And quick assigning the person with the Bionics a full cybrog conversion), we ended up with...
The Stalker - Newly Arrived Crashed Alien from another world, here to save humanity from itself, before the cleaners arrive... after this session, he's not sure why. His abilities are super sensitive hearing and vision, and healing. With a Energy Blast.
Twilight Moon is a Fashionista Cryo Cyborg from another world, with a Vibrosword and enough armor to stop a tank. 'She' also is the only character with Basic Melee Training...
The Moongoose is an Ancient Master... who appears to be 15 years old, and has a cracking voice, even though he's about 40. A Supreme master of martial skills, he has never left the monestary and knows little about the world he's in... he's a good fit, I think.
Innocent Bystander (IB) is... well, she's one of our two Physical Training people. She's strong. She's likely to get stronger after she chooses some skills. She thinks everyone else is crazy. She's probably right.
Steve is the other one. He believes in Minihonies. He's quick and agile compared to the Strong IB.
We had a short combat session where Electromagnetic Frogs the size of Horses came out of the subways of Manhatten and started to try to eat people. It was silly, we got used to the combat quickly, and we had a blast.
I mentioned before hand Balance and Paladium don't nessecarily equate, but I think it could have been worse. I think it'll be a kick to do for a little while. Rather be doing Gamma World, but one is appreciative of the things they have.
Hopefully, I'll soon have Pony Town Adventures ready for Proofing.
