Eye Observations
Sep. 16th, 2010 12:23 pmSometimes my eyes get a bit wonky...
Today I walked to the bus stop and was waiting for the bus and just observed that my right eye isn't seeing a color well. I can't *define* the color, because it seems to be a weird shade of orange that it's not seeing, but it sees red fine, and yellow fine, but the bench which is really a nice indian red brown just is less vibrant with the right eye, and trees that are in the distance with browned leaves seem to be just bright green.
Now, this would be a great observation, if it wasn't that the LEFT eye might be a little to sensitive to red. It shades everything this moderate dark pink. So it makes the bench which is indian red REALLY indian red, and it tends to make all the greens darker.
It's also one of those things that tends to go away after enough exposure to the same level of brightness for a while... so I don't really know what is going on. It's just a weird observation for me, and I wonder how much it affects my color choices for art.
