Toys for Bob, really?
Dec. 1st, 2011 01:15 amSkylanders, the new Hasbro venture into once again bringing Model Toys into video games, I gave a passing look, and went "Eh". Mainly because this thing has happened before, and they've been horrible.
... and for all I know the game may *still* be horrible... but I just learned the development team was None Other than Toys for Bob. If you don't know them, you should, for that is the team that was behind Star Control II: The Ur-quan Masters. And watching video from the game, it looks like it does have that Super Melee feel to the game.
I don't really know how well the game plays, but it makes me want to give it a chance, even if it is aimed at a younger crowd. I at least *like* the developer this time.
