Since when was I the assertive one?

sarah_tvPeople who know me know that in general, unless I am acting, I'm a very quiet person. I try to fill the air with sound because talking is just polite to do when with people, but I don't really feel I have much to say or contribute, so I don't say much. I also am not the one that often feels they should be making decisions due to lack of contributing factors. I make decisions when I need to, not because I feel it's my duty to be in charge...
So it's been really sureal the last month to come to the realization that out of all the people I currently am involved with, I feel that I am the one that has the most "Take Charge" attitude. I *CAN* make the decisions, and in the most recent cases, I MUST make the decisions...
Now, mind you, I like to plan ahead on what I am going to do. It's part of growing up taking turns in games... but I never imagined myself being the Second In Command role in friendships or family... but it's where I'm at... and I have to wonder how did I get here?
